3 Players CSK might look for in IPL 2024 auction
(1) Ajitesh Guruswamy
Ajitesh will be one of the players CSK might look for in IPL 2024. He has scored the most runs in TNPL 2023 while playing for Nellai Royal Kings (NRK).
Ajitesh scored 385 runs in 10 games with an average of 64.17 and with an outstanding strike rate of 163.14. Unfortunately, his team lost the final of TNPL 2023 against Lyca Kovai Kings by 104 runs. He himself had failed to make a mark in the final and got out for just 1 run in 2 balls.
The 20-year-old right-handed batter might be a perfect replacement for someone like Ambati Rayudu, who played his last IPL game this year. Ajitesh knows how to pace the inning very well and will be a strong contender to play in the middle order for CSK.
CSK will definitely consider his TNPL 2023 form for the IPL 2024. And who knows, Ajitesh might get a lucrative IPL contract in 2024. He has to continue his form the same way in domestic cricket so that he can make an impact on the franchise when the IPL 2024 auction comes.

Baba Aparajith is one of the most talented batters in domestic cricket over the years. He has done well for Tamil Nadu in all three formats and in TNPL as well. Unfortunately, he didn’t get the chance to play any games in the IPL despite being a part of a few franchises in the league.
CSK will look into him as a middle-order batter for the IPL 2024. If CSK needs a good Indian batter, he will be one of the options in the IPL 2024 auction. It will also open the door for an extra overseas player option if he plays in the XI.

Baba Aparajith used to be a part of CSK. He was even a part of Rising Pune Supergiants at some time. But he didn’t get a single game in any IPL season.

Baba Aparajith has also done well in the recently concluded TNPL 2023. He becomes the 4th highest run scorer in the tournament after scoring 283 runs in 7 games for Chepauk Super Gillies (CSG). He averages 47.17 and has a strike rate of 142.93.
If he continues to do well, CSK will definitely go for him in IPL 2024 auction. He can also bowl a few overs if needed.
(3) Gurjapneet Singh
If CSK looks for variety in their bowling attack, Gurjapneet Singh will be one of the options for them in IPL 2024. He will bring variety to CSK’s pace attack with his left-arm bowling ability. CSK didn’t have any left-arm pacer right now.
Especially since we saw some of the CSK bowler’s injury concerns, Gurjapneet will be a perfect fit for them. CSK lost D Chahar and Kyle Jamieson before the IPL 2023 because of their respective injuries.
