India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka are the top-seeded teams in the Asian Games 2023 in cricket. The remaining 11 teams are divided into 4 groups. Group A consists of Afghanistan and Mongolia. Starting date of the Asian Games 2023
The Asian Games 2023 opening ceremony will take place on September 23. And the event will also start on the same day.
The cricket tournament will commence on September 27 with Nepal and Mongolia playing the opening game.

All the games will happen on Pingfeng Campus Cricket Field, Hangzhou. Some games will start at 6:30 AM IST (9:00 AM Local). And some games will start at 11:30 AM IST (2:00 PM Local).
When will team India play their first game?
Team India will directly play the first game on October 03 in the quarter-final. The game will start at 6:30 AM IST. If Team India wins that game, they will advance to the semifinals.
The final of the cricket event will take place on October 07 at 11:30 AM IST.

The BCCI (The Board of Control for Cricket in India) has already announced the squad for the Asian Games 2023. Ruturaj Giakwad has been given a captaincy role for the tournament.

The whole squad consists of youngsters and fringe players. Some of the uncapped players are also on the team.
