Indian cricket team to host Bangladesh
The Indian cricket team has recently played a 3-match T20I and 3-match ODI series against Sri Lanka in Sri Lanka. They won the T20Is 3-0 but didn’t replicate those performances in ODIs. Now, their next fixture is one month away to start.
They will host the Bangladesh cricket team for a 2-match Test and 3-match T20I series at home. The series will commence with the first test, to be played in Chennai from September 19 to 23. After Tests, the T20Is will start from October 06 in Gwalior.

The Indian cricket team will host England just before the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. It will be India’s last bilateral series before CT 2025. England will play 5 T20Is, commencing from January 22 at Eden Gardens. After the T20Is, the match ODI series will start on February 06 in Nagpur.

The Champions Trophy schedule is still not decided
CT 2025 hosting rights are with Pakistan. PCB (Pakistan Cricket Board) has proposed a draft schedule for the tournament to the ICC. The draft schedule includes all the matches in Pakistan, including India’s matches. However, the Indian government is unlikely to allow the BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) to send the Indian cricket team to Pakistan.
Either PCB has to move the whole tournament to another country or they will have to go with the hybrid model, just like an Asia Cup 2023.
