SRH finally bought Pat Cummins for INR 20.50 crore and now he has become the 2nd most expensive buy in the IPL history.

Cummins, before missing the IPL 2023, has played 3 seasons (from 2020 to 2022) for KKR. He got an IPL contract of INR 15.50 crore in the IPL 2020 and 2021. The franchise again bought him in the IPL 2022 auction for INR 7.25 crore.

Other than the pacers, a few batters also got some bucks in the auction. One of the top picks is Daryll Mitchell. A Kiwi batting all-rounder went under the hammer and CSK in the end, bought him for a whopping INR 14 crore.

Travis Head was a hot topic before the auction because of his recent success. He went to SRH for INR 6.80 crore. Rilee Rossouw, who went unsold in the first round got INR 8 crore from PBKS.

Sameer Rizvi, a 20-year-old youngster from UP went to CSK for an INR 8.40 crore in the auction. DC bought Kumar Kushagra for INR 7.20 crore.
